I am beyond thrilled to officially announce that Flutterby is growing and moving to a new location! Many factors encouraged this exciting change, but top among them are these: 1) Location, Location, Location!! Talk about prime business real estate in the Twin Cities! The new location at 4444 West 76th Street, Edina is situated near the Bloomington/Edina/Richfield corridor off 494 and France Avenue. Centralized? Check! Easy-to-access? Check! There is plenty of free off-street parking with handicap accessibility. 2) Collaboration with Pregnancy, Birth, and Wellness Providers! This is a big one. It has long been my dream to partner with other complementary providers to allow women, children, and their families to receive holistic care for pregnancy and beyond. Several years ago, when Flutterby was just 'hatching,' I sat down to meet with my good friend/soul sister and chiropractor, Dr. Felicia Conner. The goal was to find a way to partner and maximize our reach in serving women and their families in the Twin Cities. The stars didn't align just right back then, so plans were set on the back burner. Fast-forward to earlier this year when I was looking to grow and move Flutterby. Dr. Conner just so happened to be looking to expand her practice space! Alignment (pun intended)! We quickly started planning just how we could incorporate our practices into the same space and blueprints were drawn. Dr. Conner's space already provides prenatal, child and adult chiropractic care, massage (including prenatal work), and acupuncture. All that was needed was a little rearranging and a build-out of the existing space to add Flutterby and make room for even more providers (including prenatal/postpartum counseling and lactation services)! Our goal is to be a one-stop shop for families to receive childbirth education, doula care, placenta encapsulation, chiropractic care, nutrition services and health education, new mamas/parenting groups, acupuncture services, massage services, lactation counseling and support, and prenatal/postpartum counseling services! It is finally happening. Please stay tuned as the space comes together - The goal is to have it ready to go by June 1st! I will continue to post updates here and on Facebook, but in the meantime, enjoy these pics of Felicia and me/our children together... :) “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”
