Hypnobirthing, paired with my amazing doula, Erin, helped me to believe my body and baby would work together to have a safe, easy birth... I would completely recommend!

I can truly feel how much the tools and resources are shifting my hope and confidence for this birth experience, and I’m so grateful for the care you bring to your work. I’ve also already shared your information with a few pregnant friends because I’ve loved the experience so much.

WHO SHOULD TAKE A HYPNOBIRTHING CLASS?
All are welcome! Whether you're planning a hospital birth, birth center birth, or home birth — and whether this is your first baby or your fourth — you belong here. Classes include a rich mix of families and perspectives. Hypnobirthing is also an excellent choice for those planning a VBAC! WHEN SHOULD I TAKE HYPNOBIRTHING?
Most students begin between 25–34 weeks, but it’s never too early or too late to benefit. WHY VIRTUAL CLASSES?
WHY 5 WEEKS?
Class is designed to span 5 weeks because the mind learns and retains new skills most effectively when given time to absorb information gradually. Hypnobirthing techniques—like deep relaxation, breathing patterns, and positive birth visualization—require consistent practice and reinforcement. A longer course allows participants to:
DO I STILL NEED TO TAKE ANOTHER BIRTH PREP CLASS?
Nope! Labor 101, the stages and phases of labor, labor hormones, positions for labor, common interventions... We cover it all, in addition to all of the hypno-goodness! DO I HAVE TO PLAN An unmedicated BIRTH TO TAKE hypnobirthing?
Not at all. Hypnobirthing supports all types of births—unmedicated, epidural, induction, cesarean, hospital, birth center, or home birth. The goal is not to force a specific type of birth, but to help you feel calm, informed, and empowered no matter how birth unfolds. WHAT IF I HAVE TO MISS A WEEK OF CLASS?
Our policy for missed classes is that you are offered a free make-up in the form of attending the missed week in the next available class series, if you are still expecting at that time. Generally, if one class is missed and a make-up is not feasible, students still do very well as long as they keep up on their practice and following the weekly study guides that are emailed after each class. DOES THIS CLASS HELP PREPARE MY PARTNER?
Absolutely! One thing I hear often from partners is, "I just don't want to feel helpess." You will learn tools for providing hands-on comfort, supporting relaxation/hypnosis, and advocating for your pregnant partner; in addition to what to expect physiologically thought each stage of labor! CAN I ATTEND CLASS WITHOUT MY PARTNER/WHAT IF I DO NOT HAVE A PARTNER?
Again, all are welcome! If your partner is unable to attend class, or you do not have a partner, there is no reason you cannot attend! You may bring a non-partner support person with you to class, or simply attend on your own. Class is inclusive of all, regardless of relationship status or type. Partners who are unable to attend do very well when they discuss class with their pregnant partner, read the student manual, and keep up with our weekly study guides. We want partners to feel empowered as well! DO I NEED PRIOR EXPERIENCE WITH MEDITATION OR HYPNOSIS?
No experience needed. The techniques are simple, guided, and easy to learn, even if you’ve never tried relaxation or meditation before. |
